Long time no blog

I've been extremely busy with school since my last blog entry, and there hasn't been a lot of Disney related news until this last week or so. Time for a fill- in session! This might be too much info, but I wanted to explain all that has gone on.

So about two weeks ago on the August 8th arrival group, I got an email from a girl named Courtney about possibly being in the apartment "group" she and another girl Megan were trying to set up. I was initially hesitant giving that they wanted to have a 3 bedroom in Chatham and I wanted a 2. But after thinking about it and speaking with Courtney again, I decided it wouldn't be so bad since my previous program I had 4 other roommates. Another couple of things making my decision easy were a) no bunk beds in the WDW apartments and b) the apartments are huge and we will have more odds of getting a bacony if we do a 3 bedroom not a 2.

Anyway lol. So Courtney was already partnered up with Megan to be actual ROOMmates in the apartment, but she had a 3rd person, Shaina, that didn't have a roommie. Shaina actually contacted me before I could her, by commenting on my roommate survey (I HIGHLY suggest everyone participate in this on the facebook groups if you aren't trying to get a random roommate, as it's an easy way to figure out who you may get along with). Shaina is awesome so far! She's 24, lives in Independance, Oregon, and likes many of the same things I do. She's also extremely easy to talk to, almost like she's always been an aquantance and even a friend. I think we'll definately be great roommates and friends throughout the fall program. We officially made the "match" on the Disney Roommate Matching System this morning. So we're locked in as roommates and it's such a relief to finally have one, and a cool one at that.

So that's pretty much all that's been happening on the ol' Disney front. The onboarding site (The site that Disney sends you a link for that gives you all the info you may and will need before your arrival and in the first few days; I believe it replaces the mass emails they used to send and the purple folders) is open to me, but the only thing I am able to do right now is the roommie matching thing and look at the different info and videos they have. I won't be able to sign up for classes for awhile yet, and I won't print off and fill out my onboarding paperwork until my arrival date is closer simply because the dates on the papers are still 2011 lol.

I guess that's it for now! I may do a fun- not an info bomb lol- blog post either later today or tomorrow.
